This Samyang Carbonara recipe is SO good. Combining Buldak Samyang Spicy Ramen with your more traditional carbonara sauce gives you a delicious result! It's become one of my favourite super easy meals to make, I hope you love it!

    Why You'll Love This Recipe

    • SPICY - be warned, this dish is very spicy. Yes, the carbonara sauce mellows down the spice levels, but trust me when I say that it still gets those taste buds firing. So, if you love spice, you're going to LOVE this recipe.
    • Super EASY - this is one of my favourite recipes to make when I have no time to cook. It takes less than 10 minutes and is an absolute comfort dish. All you need is a handful of ingredients and you can whip it the samyang carbonara in no time.

    Ingredients For Samyang Carbonara

As you can imagine, this is far from an authentic carbonara...but it's just as good (in my spice-obsessed opinion). As I said above, this samyang carbonara takes less than 10 minutes to make and only requires a handful of ingredients.

    Samyang Carbonara

    So, here's what you'll need:

    • 1 packet of Samyang Buldak HOT chicken flavour ramen
    • Egg yolks
    • Parmesan
    • Pepper
    • Bacon/Lardons or if you want to be fancy, guanciale (italian cured meat)

    How To Make Samyang Carbonara

Step 1 - Make Your Sauce

    Samyang Carbonara
    • In a small bowl, combine your egg yolks with parmesan, black pepper, and your two packets of Samyang Ramen seasoning.
    • Give it a good mix with a fork until a paste has formed. Set it aside.

    Step 2 - Fry Bacon

    Samyang Carbonara Bacon
    • Place your frying pan on high heat. Drizzle with a teaspoon of veggie oil and then add in your bacon bits.
    • Fry for 5 minutes until cooked to your liking (I like mine slightly crispy).
    • Take the pan off the heat.

    Step 3 - Noodles & Assembly

    Samyang Carbonara Bacon
    • Cook your noodles to packet instructions in a pan of boiling water.
    • Meanwhile, pour your sauce into your bacon frying pan and give it a good mix.
    • Once your noodles are ready, strain them and then add them into your frying pan with your sauce and bacon. Give it all a good mix until everything is well combined.
    • Serve up with more parmesan, and enjoy!

Fantastic and soooo yummy. so simple, but it's made me so addicted to this particular Samyang flavor.

my tip: you can use any cheese. I have personally use Edamer and Gouda to equally yummy success. I also suggest this recipe to anyone who's a bit of a beginner when it comes to spicy stuff, the eggs and cheese really help mitigate the spice to a more bearable intensity (for me!).

      thanks for the recipe Em!!
